Overview:

By reducing the finished natural gas from 25 MPa to ~0.8 MPa for regeneration, the regenerated gas is then returned to the compressor inlet. During regeneration, the compressor must be in operation, and the running time must be between 6 to 8 hours.

Features:

1、The lifespan of valves, adsorbents, etc., operating under high pressure, is 6 to 12 months, with the overall device lifespan ranging from 5 to 8 years, accompanied by relatively high maintenance costs.

2、Positioned after the compressor, the pressurization from the compressor can cause some moisture in natural gas to precipitate in the form of free water, leading to the formation of an acidic environment that can corrode subsequent equipment, especially the compressor.

3、Molecular sieves adsorb in a saturated water state, subjecting the equipment to alternating high and low-pressure loads. The adsorbent is easily contaminated and poisoned by compressor oil, necessitating frequent replacement of molecular sieves, with a lifespan of 3 to 5 months.

4、High operating pressure leads to the easy damage of valve components, which are expensive to replace. Additionally, molecular sieves are prone to fragmentation and failure under high pressure differentials, resulting in high maintenance costs.

5、Suitable for lower pipeline pressures; occupies a smaller footprint; and has lower initial investment costs.
